Until last week, every completed ride on Velise earned 2% back in Velise Credit. From May, that 2% only applies to rides totalling more than $600. Here's why we did it.
What changed
On a short ride that totals around $80, two percent is $1.60. That's a small enough amount that it cluttered the credit ledger more than it rewarded the customer. We'd rather make the perk meaningful when it shows up than spread it thin across every ride.
From now on, only rides over $600 earn 2% back. That's $12 minimum on a qualifying ride. Hourly bookings count too — if your trip totals more than $600 all-in, the cashback applies the same way.
What stayed the same
Every other Velise Credit rule is unchanged. Operator cancels under 24 hours: you still get 25% credit. Operator no-shows on a scheduled ride: full credit. Ride-integrity breach (per refund policy §9): 75%. Those are policy credits — they exist to make a wronged customer whole, and they're not going anywhere.
The full schedule lives on your /credits page. Read it once and forget it — every credit is auto-applied at checkout. You never enter a code, never redeem a coupon.
