FIFA World Cup
June 11 – July 19, 2026
About

The first-ever 26-team World Cup, jointly hosted by Canada, the US, and Mexico. Toronto is one of two Canadian host cities, with BMO Field expanded to 45,000 seats specifically for the tournament.

The city is hosting six matches in total — five group-stage games and one Round-of-32 knockout. Even without Canada playing here every match, the streets get loud: every nationality in Toronto turns out for their team.

When

Tournament runs June 11 – July 19. Toronto match dates: June 12 (opening week), June 16, June 20, June 23, June 27, and a Round-of-32 game on July 2. Match days are zoo-level chaos near Exhibition Place.
