Veld Music Festival
August 1 – 3, 2026
About
Veld is Toronto's biggest electronic music festival. Started 2012, now hits Downsview Park every August long weekend. Multiple stages — main-stage EDM, a house/techno tent, drum-and-bass area, hip-hop crossover stage.
Past headliners: Calvin Harris, Marshmello, Diplo, Tiësto, Skrillex, Excision. The main stage production is Coachella-grade — pyrotechnics, LED walls, drone shows.
When
Friday Aug 1 to Sunday Aug 3. Doors at 12pm each day. Headliners on stage between 9pm and 11pm. Sunday wraps by 11pm sharp (city noise bylaws).
Where
Downsview Park, 70 Carl Hall Rd, Toronto
Downsview
What to expect
- ●60k+ people per day — the biggest single-venue gathering in Toronto all year
- ●Day-festival only — no camping. You leave each night
- ●Sunscreen + water are non-negotiable; the venue is wide open
- ●The last 2 hours each day are when the headliners actually go on
Insider tips
- 01TTC runs extra trains from Downsview Park station — use them, driving in is brutal
- 02VIP gets you elevated viewing platforms and shorter bar lines — worth it for a headliner you actually care about
- 03Bring a CamelBak — water lines hit 30+ minutes when it's hot
- 04Stage 4 (the smaller tent) is where the real heads end up after the main stage finishes
- 05Don't eat at the festival — the food is overpriced. There's a Mucho Burrito 5 min away
